I was commissioned by Mother London to create a handwritten font for Stella Artois. Leaning on the companies long standing association with the arts and film, the aim of the campaign was to breathe new life into the famed brewing brand through colourful art direction bathed in warm tones.

I worked collaboratively with Face37 to engineer my lettering into a working typeface to be used across the entirety of the campaign.

We delivered a typeface with coded OpenType features; contextual alternatives and ligatures. For every letter there are three alternates, adding differentiation to repeating letters. This feature mimics real handwriting, giving the font a more human feel. The font supported the majority of central European countries.
